Happy Birthday to my lovely wife and mother of my children

Happy Birthday to the MOST WONDERFUL, IMPORTANT PERSON IN MY LIFE!! How do I tell you in words how much you mean to me?

As a husband what can you do to make the birthday of your dearest wife so special and memorable? There is nothing I can give you that is comparable to what you are doing for me and our little family. All you did this year was take care of me and give birth to our beautiful baby daughter. Although I have experienced you giving birth before this time I realized your true strength and unselfishness. I know I don’t say it enough but I really do appreciate you and how you make things a lot easier for me by just being the person you are.  You have continually shown how much you truly care for me and our babies.

For every day in the past 4 years no one but I can attest to what you have done for our family. I am proud to be a true witness to the beginning of your defining moments of motherhood. Everything you have done till now and for the rest of our lives is what motherhood truly means. Most people, especially those who don't have kids think motherhood means getting the basics right. Feed them, change them, rock them to sleep and the rest would fall into place, wouldn't it? If only it were that easy. If only everyone knew that you've had to stay up at all hours throughout the day and night only to make sure our baby received everything it needed and then do it all over again the next day, and the next, and the next, and the next. From reading to him every night before bedtime to teaching him his first anything, making sure he was fed, and showing him how much you love him. And now you are doing it all over again. It would be impossible to mention everything you have done for us but you get the idea. No wife or mother has to do all these things for their children or husband but you choose to do it and wouldn't have it any other way. I love you for this and eventually Julian and Lauren will too, appreciate your selflessness.
