Happy Valentine's Day! (11 years later)

Wow! Its been 11 years since my last Valentine's Day post to you. 

As I’m sitting here writing you this letter, while you are asleep in bed. My back was killing me because you don't let me watch Netflix on the TV, which then leaves me in this awkward position in bed so you don't wake up from the glare of my laptop. Instead of getting upset about it, I glanced over at you, saw how peaceful you looked, and I smile. How can I possibly be upset when I wake up next to a woman I’m so in love with? This woman that does so much for me and my babies. I quietly moved my laptop further away, because the last thing I wanted to do was wake you from your peaceful sleep and catch me writing this letter.

I should probably take more time expressing my love and appreciation more than just occasionally or on Valentine’s Day, but sometimes I think we let our busy lives get the better of us. We should really start having special “date nights,” because I think it’s easy to forget how much we mean to each other. 

You really do brighten up my day with your smile, with your kisses, with hugs, and with your love and yes...the enchiladas :)  

I’m so happy to be spending another Valentine’s Day with you, because you are my Valentine all year long.  

Thank you for everything you do for me, for your love to our beautiful babies, and for always being there for me. I’m so glad to have you in my life!
